REDW Welcomes 6 Noteworthy Professionals in the Summer of 2021

September 15, 2021 — Albuquerque, NM | Phoenix, AZ — REDW LLC, one of the Southwest’s largest and fastest-growing certified public accounting and business advisory firms, is pleased to announce the addition of six distinguished professionals in the practice areas of Tax and Client Advisory and Accounting Services (CAAS) who joined the firm in the summer of 2021.

These accomplished new team members and returning professionals are listed below, by practice area and position.

Audit & Assurance

Rye Randlemon as Accounting Specialist Manager in REDW’s Albuquerque office. Rye has over eight years of accounting and audit experience in government, technology, employee benefit plans, and service industries. He earned both a Master and Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University and began his career working as a Staff Accountant with REDW.

Client Advisory & Accounting Services (CAAS)

Lorin SaavedraLorin Saavedra as Outsourced CFO. Lorin brings more than 15 years of leadership and accounting experience in banking, hospitality, and manufacturing. She is adept at strategic planning, creating efficiencies, and taking a proactive approach to add value for her clients. Lorin holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University. She serves as Treasurer on the board of Locker 505 (a non-profit children’s clothing bank), as an Executive Committee member of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative, and as a Legislative Review Committee member for Viante New Mexico.

Donna Arbogast as Supervisor, Client Advisory and Accounting Services. Donna brings over 17 years of experience with the New Mexico Board of Nursing, where she served for the last 10 years as its Chief Financial Officer. She is skilled in establishing and managing financial projections and ensuring overall financial accountability. Donna earned a Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University.

State and Local Tax

Americo RodriguezAmerico Rodriguez, MST as Senior Manager, State and Local Tax. Americo has over 10 years of experience advising clients on sales tax compliance and registration, performing nexus analysis, and in audit defense. He has worked in many industries, ranging from pharmaceuticals to ecommerce to manufacturing. Americo holds a Master of Science in Taxation from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern Illinois University.

Heidi D. Ragland as Senior Manager, State and Local Tax. Heidi has over 35 years of experience in diverse industries, including entertainment, technology and construction. Her wide-ranging tax expertise includes Sales and Use Tax, Property Tax, Franchise Tax, and many more. Heidi holds a Bachelor’s degree with a dual major in Accounting and English from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. She is passionate about working with underserved and disenfranchised communities and has lent her time and expertise to serving on several boards.

Jeanna Schenk, CPA as Manager, State and Local Tax in REDW’s Phoenix office. Jeanna brings strong state tax experience, including four years working for leading national public accounting firms. Jeanna holds a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude from Western Washington University. Jeanna is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Arizona and already contributes her expertise to the REDW blog.
