The REDW Team mourns the loss of our long-time partner, firm leader, coach, mentor, and friend, Jimmy Trujillo. With deep sorrow, we share this news as we reflect on the immense contributions and profound impact he had on our firm and the many lives he touched.
Jimmy embodied REDW’s values—humility, respect, kindness, and integrity – and lived our purpose by making meaningful contributions to the lives of our team, our clients, and our community.
In the CPA profession and community, Jimmy served many important organizations in leadership positions, including Leadership New Mexico, New Mexico Amigos, the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, Robert O. Anderson Foundation, NAIOP, UNM Alumni Association, and NMSCPA. Jimmy helped each organization advance its mission with thoughtful guidance, compassion, and wit.
Jimmy was an extraordinary individual who dedicated his life to the pursuit of excellence and success. As an integral part of REDW, he played a pivotal role in shaping our firm’s growth, reputation, and accomplishments. His unwavering commitment to our clients and the pursuit of excellence made him an invaluable leader, mentor, and asset to our team.
Jimmy left us far too soon and will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with his family and friends and, most especially, his wife and two children during this difficult time.
