Meet Lorin

Lorin has more than 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, risk management, and compliance across a variety of industries, from financial services to hospitality, manufacturing, transportation and warehousing. An analytical problem solver who likes to push the boundaries of what is possible, she oversees her team’s operations to enhance and optimize service to clients. She also lends her prior CFO experience and expertise to clients as an Outsourced CFO, as needed.

Prior to joining REDW in 2021, Lorin held a variety of executive-level positions in banking and has experience with loan origination, structuring, and servicing for consumer and business markets. Her responsibilities included helping to execute strategic goals and improve the overall institution and customer experience while staying in compliance with laws and regulations.

Professional Qualifications and Memberships

Lorin is a member of Commercial Real Estate for Women and the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce. As a Certified Value Growth Advisor (CVGA), Lorin has received advanced training in management and financial advisory designed to enhance client enterprise growth and profits.

Community Involvement

Deeply invested in her community, Lorin takes on as many opportunities as she can manage to help strengthen it. From promoting financial literacy to supporting nonprofits in their mission to provide jobs, and from raising awareness for women’s health to investing in young girls as our future leaders, she seeks to pay every skill she has forward in support of lasting, positive change. These activities include:

  • Locker 505 – A school clothing bank that provides clothing to students in need. In 2020 Lorin stepped in to serve as Treasurer, helping to double the organization’s budget and more than double the number of children helped this fiscal year.
  • Goodwill – As a member of the Board since 2021, Lorin has brought a fresh perspective on the audit and investments front.
  • New Mexico Work and Save – Appointed to the Board in 2022, Lorin is using her expertise and influence to push for early financial education for New Mexicans.

Authenticity and a level-head—especially in tough times—are key to persevering without hanging anyone—including yourself—out to dry. I've worked hard to balance the roles I play as a wife, mother, team member, leader, and community member and be an example to others that you can have it all. Of course, achieving that means knowing when to ask for help, when to say “yes,” and when to say, “not now.”
