Meet Katherine

Katherine Bastow, SHRM, is Vice President of People Operations at REDW, where she leads workforce and people strategies that strengthen organizational capability, develop future-ready talent, and foster high-performing, values-driven cultures. She is passionate about aligning people, culture, and business strategy to develop the capabilities organizations need to adapt, grow, and thrive. Since joining REDW in 2020, Katherine has leveraged her experience in workforce strategy, talent development, employee engagement, employer brand, and operational Human Resources leadership to help organizations build sustainable leadership pipelines and organizational capability for long-term success.

Drawing on a career rooted in hospitality, customer experience, and talent leadership, Katherine brings a unique perspective to workforce strategy. Having spent much of her career in organizations where employee experience directly influences customer outcomes, she understands the connection between engaged employees, strong values-based cultures, exceptional service, and organizational success. Having lived and worked internationally, she brings a global perspective to leadership, workforce development, and the future of work.

Katherine has lived in Japan, Thailand, Australia, New York, and New Mexico, and understands people and HR functions from diverse cultural perspectives. She applies this knowledge to better understand employee behavior and conflicts and bring greater sensitivity to interviews, and other investigative tools.
