Meet Wesley

As an Audit & Assurance Principal, Wesley oversees the audits of a wide range of Native American communities, state and local government agencies, and non-profits, nationwide. In his role as a member of the Arizona State Board of Accountancy’s Peer Review Oversight Advisory Committee, he stays abreast of critical quality control issues that impact his audit engagements. And as a project and team leader, he ensures their accurate and timely completion, while always striving to exceed client expectations.

As the leader of REDW’s National Tribal Practice, Wes is also committed to improving financial literacy throughout Indian Country. He serves as an instructor for the Tribal Financial Managers Certificate Program offered through Arizona State University’s American Indian Policy Institute and regularly speaks on a variety of audit and accounting topics at national NIGA and NAFOA conferences. He also hosts numerous educational webinars and podcasts on tribal topics through REDW’s tribal resource, Insight in Indian Country. In addition, as a Board member for a tribal gaming entity that operates in two states, Wes keeps up with regulatory issues important to tribal gaming operations.

Wes is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation.

Wesley is a licensed CPA in Arizona and serves on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy’s Peer Review Oversight Advisory Committee. A former member of the Native American Business Organization (NABO), he currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer for the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise.
