Meet Tamara
Since joining REDW’s Tax team in 2019, Tamara has specialized in preparing complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, non-profits, and flow-through entities, following six years working as a tax accountant and supervisor in local CPA firms. Based in the firm’s Albuquerque office, she also supports REDW’s offshore Tax team, serving clients worldwide.
Professional Qualifications and Memberships
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in New Mexico, Tamara has been an active member of the New Mexico Society of CPAs since 2015, where she has served on the Board of Directors since 2018 and is now its Chair Elect as of July 1, 2024. She has served on several of the organization’s committees, including Finance, Membership, High School Initiative, and Young CPAs.
Tamara has also been a member of Commercial Real Estate Women of New Mexico (CREW NM) since August 21, where she served as Finance committee chair in 2022-2023 and on the Board of Directors since January 2024. In 2023 she served as a mentor for that year’s mentorship class, and received a Women’s Leadership Summit scholarship in the Spring of 2023.
