Stephen T. Harris, CPA, CGMA
Steve Harris has been performing auditing and tax services for nearly 30 years and leads REDW’s audit practice as a Principal in the firm’s Phoenix office. He has extensive experience serving clients across industries, with a particular emphasis on tribal gaming, hospitality, and retail. His government experience includes performing audits of school districts, community college districts, counties, state agencies, and Native American communities in Arizona, California, and New Mexico.
Steve started working for Arizona’s Office of the Auditor General right out of college, then spent the majority of his career helping Miller, Allen & Co., P.C. grow into one of the most respected CPA firms in Arizona. With Steve as a partner, the firm earned a reputation for outstanding services to tribal entities, nonprofit organizations, and state and local governments. Miller, Allen merged with REDW in November 2012.

Steve is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. He serves on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy Auditing and Accounting Standards Committee.
PUBLICATIONS AND SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Steve is a recognized leader in the field of tribal gaming and has performed training for casinos of many different sizes. While with Miller, Allen, he was responsible for a Title 31 seminar, attended by over 80 representatives from tribal casinos throughout the Western U.S., and the Symposium on Tip Rate Determination Agreements for the Arizona and New Mexico Gaming Industry, which 11 of the Arizona tribal casinos and all of the New Mexico tribal casinos attended.
Steve served as Council President and Treasurer for All Saints Lutheran Church.
