Laurel Shelton, CPA
With more than 19 years of experience in public accounting, Laurel is a leader in REDW’s commercial audit practice, serving contractors, not-for-profit organizations, insurance providers, employee benefit plans, manufacturers, wholesale distributors, and more. She has also provided tax planning and tax preparation services to clients.
Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management (summa cum laude)

Laurel is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She also completed Leadership Albuquerque, class of 2007.

Laurel serves as the Board Treasurer for ARCA and for the Women’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Team (WESST), a New Mexico nonprofit whose mission is to alleviate poverty by facilitating entrepreneurship among women and minorities in the state of New Mexico. She is also past treasurer for the Animal Humane Association of New Mexico and the Southwest Arts Festival.
