Meet Adam

Adam is a key player in REDW’s gaming practice group, providing audit and consulting services for casinos in nearly every gaming jurisdiction in the United States.

In addition to conducting and overseeing casino financial audits, Minimum Internal Control Standard agreed-upon procedures (MICS AUP) engagements, and anti-money laundering compliance engagements (BSA Title 31), Adam applies his wide-ranging experience to state compact negotiations and complex data analytics for casinos. Adam is a valued contributor to the firm’s Gaming Management Advisory Services, in which he provides operational and strategic consultation for large and small gaming facilities.

Prior to joining REDW, Adam co-founded Smith Harrison LLP in Portland, Oregon in 2011, which he helped grow into a leading accounting firm in the gaming industry before merging with REDW in May 2019.

Adam works and resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, serving casino clients nationwide.

Professional Qualifications and Memberships

A Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the state of Nevada, Adam is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Nevada Society of CPAs (NVCPA).

Publications and Speaking Engagements

Adam regularly publishes casino thought leadership articles in National Indian Gaming Magazine and is a content contributor for the American Gaming Association and Entrepreneur Magazine. He also speaks at national and regional gaming events, as well as webinars and staff trainings, on such gaming-related topics as casino internal controls, Title 31 anti-money laundering compliance, and various other specialized training needs.

Community Involvement

Giving back to the community in which he lives and works is very important to Adam, leading him get involved with such non-profit organizations as Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Ronald McDonald House of Las Vegas.
