Meet Max

As Chief Financial Officer at REDW, Max leads the firm’s financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and performance management initiatives, helping to drive long-term growth and operational excellence while supporting a thriving firm culture.

Max brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience to REDW. His career has centered around building strong organizations, developing exceptional teams, and helping institutions achieve their full potential. Throughout his career, he has blended corporate finance expertise with operational leadership, teaching, and advising—working closely with physicians, executives, consultants, and educators to shape a leadership style grounded in collaboration, empathy, and strategic discipline.

Most recently, Max led financial strategy, capital planning, workforce initiatives, and multi-year transformation efforts for a 1,000-physician enterprise within one of the largest health systems in the Southeast. His accomplishments include leading financial turnarounds, directing workforce and productivity initiatives, building new reporting frameworks and performance dashboards, and restructuring organizations into service-line operating models to strengthen transparency and margin performance.

A passionate educator, Max has also served as a lecturer at the University of Georgia, teaching graduate-level healthcare finance and mentoring emerging leaders—work that remains central to his commitment to developing the next generation of financial professionals.
