Meet Karla

In 2026, Karla joined REDW as a Principal to lead our robust Tribal Human Resources Consulting team. Her passion for empowering Tribal organizations drives her mission: to deliver tailored strategies, leadership and guidance that empower organizations and position them for success.

As a proud member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, Karla founded Soaring Bird Solutions in 2015 to bring innovative, culturally responsive solutions to Tribal organizations. With more than 25 years of Human Resources experience, Karla has built a reputation as a trusted advisor, strategic thinker, and respected speaker. Through partnerships with more than 60 Tribal Nations, Karla led initiatives in compensation design, organizational development, leadership training, and HR compliance.

As a recognized thought leader, Karla has been a featured speaker at national and regional conferences, including:
