Carol Mayo Cochran is a talented financial executive, with more than 30 years of experience of accounting, consulting, and employee benefits experience. As an REDW Principal, Carol helped facilitate the growth and development of the firm’s Human Resources Consulting and Business Software practices. Carol also oversaw the development of the firm’s retirement plan administration line of business, Alliance Benefit Group Southwest (ABG Southwest), a subsidiary of REDW LLC from 2015 to 2023, when it was acquired by Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group. Carol’s strong business acumen led to significant growth in each of these business areas, and national recognition of REDW and ABG Southwest in the areas of compensation consulting, retirement plan administration, and human resource consulting.
A Principal of REDW for over 30 years, Carol has substantial experience in compensation planning, incentive compensation plan development, retirement plan administration and design, tax consulting, and accounting services. Prior to joining REDW, Carol served as Corporate Tax Manager and Assistant Treasurer for Hondo Oil and Gas Company (Hondo). During her tenure with Hondo, Carol was their youngest corporate officer, and helped Hondo become an integrated publicly traded oil and gas company.
Carol’s expertise in the areas of management consulting, financial planning, compensation analysis, and employee benefits is demonstrated through her numerous certifications and credentials. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Carol also holds eight other certifications:
