REDW Advisors & CPAs is proud to congratulate Leslie Jiron, CPA, Principal in the firm’s Tax Practice, on being named to the Albuquerque Business First 40 Under 40 Class of 2026.
Now in its 20th year, the annual program recognizes emerging leaders across New Mexico for professional achievement, leadership, and community involvement. This year, Business First received 206 nominations — evaluated by a panel of 40 Under 40 alumni and established local business leaders — before selecting 40 honorees for the Class of 2026. Leslie is among that select group. An awards ceremony honoring the class will be held Friday, June 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque.
Leslie has built her career at the intersection of technical depth and practical business insight. As a Principal in REDW’s Tax Practice, she provides tax consulting and compliance services to nonprofit, corporate, partnership, and individual clients, with a particular focus on closely held businesses in the financial services, investment, and real estate sectors. Her background as a former controller and small-firm accountant informs the way she works alongside clients — not just on tax strategy, but on the operational and structural decisions that shape long-term outcomes. Since joining REDW in 2014, she has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor and a collaborative leader who invests in the growth of those around her. She was named a Principal in 2023.
Leslie’s commitment extends well beyond the office. She has served on the board of Shalom House — a nonprofit residential community providing affordable housing for seniors — since 2015, and has volunteered for several years with the Run for the Zoo committee.

“The 40 Under 40 program highlights emerging leaders who are making a real impact through their work, leadership, and involvement in the New Mexico community,” said Jessica Bundy, REDW Principal, Audit and Assurance. “This honor is a reflection of the commitment and leadership Leslie consistently brings to everything she does. Please join me in congratulating Leslie on this accomplishment — we’re lucky to work alongside her and proud to see her recognized.”
Leslie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of New Mexico Robert O. Anderson School of Management. Learn more about her work at REDW on her team profile.
