REDW Advisors & CPAs is pleased to announce the appointment of Kyle Stewart, CPA as the first-ever Principal-in-Charge of the Oklahoma City office. In his role, he will serve as the executive and administrative leader for the office, both as it relates to those physically in the office as well as those working remotely or in a hybrid setting. Stewart will also be responsible for fostering new and expanding current relationships between the office and the community and creating processes that allow the firm to continue its evolution into an integrated, multidisciplinary advisory providing tax and accounting services as well as software solutions, wealth management, human resources consulting, forensic & dispute advisory, business valuation, and cybersecurity. In addition to serving as the Principal-in-Charge, Stewart will also continue in his role as Principal in the Audit & Assurance practice.

With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Stewart – an Oklahoma native – assists clients across a wide range of industries with the implementation of new accounting standards and the development of effective internal control policies. Working closely with each audit team, and with keen attention to detail, he successfully establishes a clear audit plan that is tailored to the client’s needs, ensuring that engagements are run efficiently and well, and meet or exceed client and firm expectations. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Stewart is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Oklahoma Society of CPAs (OSCPA). Within the community, Stewart is a long-time board member with the Homeless Alliance, currently serving on the finance committee. He serves as an elder and on the board for his local church and on the board of Cavett Kids Foundation, an Oklahoma nonprofit serving children and youth with various life-threatening and chronic illnesses, where he also serves as Treasurer. Each year, the lives of 20,000 children and their families are enhanced by the organization’s annual camps and programs.
Stewart earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, summa cum laude, from the University of Central Oklahoma and has been honored as a Trailblazer by the Oklahoma Society of CPAs, an award that recognizes the innovation, professional dedication and community commitment of members. He is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City Class 39.
Stewart’s position is the latest in a series of key leadership roles introduced by the firm. In the past year, REDW appointed Marketing Director Heather Stratz and first-ever Director of Client Success in Diana Gibson, and in 2023 brought on Prine as the firm’s first COO and Byron Wheeler as its Vice President of Sales. The announcement also comes at a time of major growth for both the Oklahoma City office and the national team. In 2024 REDW Advisors & CPAs formally moved into a new, 3,126-square-foot office located at 211 N. Robinson Ave., Suite N150 in Oklahoma City after utilizing a shared space since opening an office in the region in 2020. In late 2023, REDW announced the opening of its first Pacific Northwest office via an acquisition with Oregon-based Grove, Mueller & Swank, P.C., as well as its acquisition of Edwards, Largay, Mihaylo & Co. in Phoenix in 2022.
