REDW Advisors & CPAs is pleased to announce that Jonathan Roepcke, CPA, CFE, has joined the firm as a Principal within its Client Advisory and Accounting Services (CAAS) practice. Based in REDW’s Albuquerque office, Roepcke will provide strategic accounting advisory services, financial reporting oversight, and operational support to clients navigating complex accounting, regulatory, and compliance challenges. He will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the firm’s national footprint to deliver comprehensive accounting solutions that strengthen financial operations and support long-term organizational success.
Roepcke brings more than 17 years of experience in public accounting and client advisory services, with deep expertise in governmental accounting, implementation of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements, Single Audit compliance, and financial reporting for Tribal governments and organizations across the Southwest. Throughout his career, he has led complex accounting engagements, helped organizations strengthen internal controls and financial reporting processes, and served as a trusted liaison between clients and external auditors to support successful audit outcomes. His background further strengthens REDW’s ability to support clients as they grow and navigate increasingly sophisticated financial environments.
Prior to joining REDW, Roepcke served as Senior Manager with Noon & Associates LLC in Albuquerque, where he oversaw outsourced controller and CFO-level accounting services for multiple Tribal clients across the Southwest. In that role, he developed formal closing procedures, designed internal control frameworks to support Single Audit compliance, assisted organizations with implementing new GASB standards, and guided clients through audit preparation and financial reporting processes. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade with KPMG LLP in Albuquerque, where he progressed from Audit Associate to Audit Manager while leading complex audit engagements for government entities, nonprofit organizations, and publicly traded companies.
Roepcke began his career in public accounting in 2007 and transitioned into client advisory services in 2017, where he expanded his focus to include operational accounting strategy, financial process improvement, and forensic examinations. He is widely recognized for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to developing high-performing teams while fostering a culture of continuous learning.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management from Evangel University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Outside of his professional work, Roepcke enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, including hiking, skiing, camping, and hunting. He and his wife, Cherise, recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary and are proud parents of five children.
