Albuquerque, NM October 26, 2020 – REDW LLC, a Top 200 Accounting Firm and one of the Southwest’s 10 largest CPA and business advisory firms, also recognized as the national leader serving tribes and tribal enterprises, announced today that Victor Flores has joined the firm as Director of Tribal Services in Oklahoma, effective October 26, 2020.

By adding Victor’s demonstrated leadership and expertise, we are strengthening our commitment to support the 38 federally recognized tribal nations in Oklahoma.”
Cogan added that, as part of this business expansion effort, REDW will be operating from the new Oklahoma office location as of November 1, 2020. Located in Edmond, OK, this office will facilitate initial recruiting plans in the short-term as REDW’s Tribal Services team begins to serve Oklahoma Tribes locally.
Victor Flores previously served as Chief Financial Officer, as well as in other leadership roles, for the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma. His recent achievements include collaborating with the Native American Financial Officers Association (NAFOA) to create the Oklahoma Tribal Finance Consortium (OTFC), of which Victor is currently president. The OTFC, a non-profit organization, brings together tribal finance and economic leaders from all of the federally recognized tribal nations that are headquartered in Oklahoma. The consortium focuses on providing financial and economic education to Tribes, with an emphasis on collaboration that strengthens organizational finance and bolsters economic development. In 2019, the OTFC released the Oklahoma Native Economic Impact Study, which was conducted by a third-party economist and reported FY17 tribal activities in Oklahoma having a $12.9 Billion impact on the state. The OTFC has also partnered with Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business and the University of Oklahoma to create a Tribal Finance Certificate Program. REDW is a strong supporter of both programs.
