REDW LLC, one of the Southwest’s 10 largest certified public accounting and business consulting firms, is pleased to announce the addition of two talented professionals to the Audit & Consulting Department in the Firm’s Phoenix office: LaKisha Tucker as an Accounting Specialist Supervisor, and Omar Williams-Pope as an Audit Associate.
LaKisha Tucker brings over 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, Trial Balances and Budgets to her new role as Accounting Specialist Supervisor. In her former position at a pet supply manufacturing company, she implemented procedural changes that recouped considerable lost revenue and reduced accounts receivable by 50%. She holds an MBA in Business Management from Ottawa University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Kaplan University.
Omar Williams-Pope joined REDW following a successful assurance internship at a large public accounting firm in Tucson, AZ, where he performed comprehensive audits of financial statements of nonprofits, government entities, and employee benefit plans. He has also performed tax return preparation work for nonprofits, drawing upon his previous Tax Externship experience at another Tucson CPA firm. Omar majored in Accounting at the University of Arizona and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with the intention of pursuing a career in public accounting, assurance, and forensic accounting.
