REDW Advisors & CPAs is pleased to welcome Kyle Foutz, CPA, to its growing team of talented professionals. In his role, Foutz will serve as a Senior Audit Manager in the Audit & Assurance practice group, focused on organizing and overseeing a broad range of accounting, auditing, and consulting activities for clients across the country including healthcare entities, internal audit clients, not-for-profit clients, casinos and the hospitality industry, financial institutions, commercial businesses, and local and tribal governments.
Foutz brings more than a decade of experience to the role, most recently serving as accounting manager for the City of Boulder City in Nevada and as a Senior Audit Manager for BDO, where he managed and mentored a workforce of 40 auditors while analyzing complex client needs and identifying strategic, actionable solutions. He also worked for several years at Piercy Bowler Taylor and Kern, which specialized in work with government and tribal enterprises, casinos in particular. He earned both his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Nevada and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Foutz’ hiring comes during a time of tremendous transformational growth at REDW Advisors & CPAs, which includes the recent announcement of three key leadership appointments in Katherine Bastow, SPHR/SCP, to Vice President of People Operations; Michelle Burdett, CPA, to Vice President of Finance; and Shawn Fisher to Vice President of Information Technology. The trio will support each of the firm’s four offices across Arizona, Oklahoma, Oregon, and New Mexico as well as support team members working across the globe. And in 2023, in addition to opening its first-ever office in the Pacific Northwest, REDW appointed its first-ever Chief Operating Officer in Kerry Prine as well as its first-ever Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Byron Wheeler.
