REDW LLC, one of the Southwest’s 10 largest certified public accounting and business consulting firms, is pleased to welcome three new professionals to the Audit & Assurance team in its Phoenix office: Christian Korsnack as a Senior Audit Associate, and both Alex Ayala and Joseph Hankey as Audit Associates.Â
Christian Korsnack joined the Phoenix Audit & Assurance team as a Senior Audit Associate from a leading national CPA firm in December 2017. He has over 10 years of experience serving Phoenix clients in the technology, manufacturing & distribution, real estate, and hospitality industries. Born and raised in Bowling Green, Ohio, Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, where he specialized in Accounting and Finance. Christian has served as a member of the Arizona Tech Council and is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement of Arizona.
Having relocated to Arizona from Alaska, new REDW Audit Associate Alex Ayala brings valuable experience working with the Alaska state government on compliance, financial, performance and special audits. He has also served as a Tax Coach Intern, preparing complex tax returns involving small business, rental income/expenses, portfolio income, IRA withdrawal, and more. Alex graduated cum laude from the University of Alaska with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, and is a CPA candidate accruing his final experience hours. Alex is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Joseph Hankey has also joined REDW’s Audit & Assurance team in Phoenix as an Audit Associate. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and minor in Economics from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management, where he also gained practical work experience as an Accounting Technician. During his time at UNM, Joseph studied abroad at universities in both England and Germany.
