REDW LLC, one of the Southwest’s 10 largest certified public accounting firms, is pleased to announce that Principal Steve Harris has been elected to the board of directors for the Cancer Support Community of Arizona. The position is effective September 1, 2017 and will run through September 2020.
Founded in 1999, the Cancer Support Community of Arizona (CSCAZ) provides no-cost support, nutrition, educational and social programs and resources for cancer patients and their families; since its inception, more than 200,000 Arizonans have benefited from its services. The nonprofit is one of the more than sixty charitable, industry and professional organizations that REDW team members support.
“The Board of Directors was unanimous in their desire to add Steve’s skills and unique insights from his life journey to the richness of their board make up,†said Debbie DiCarlo, Chief Executive Officer of CSCAZ.
Steve has provided audit and tax services for nearly 30 years and leads REDW’s audit practice as a Principal in the firm’s Phoenix office. He has extensive experience serving clients across industries, with a particular emphasis on tribal gaming, hospitality, and retail. Prior to joining REDW, he served as a partner at Miller, Allen & Co., P.C., one of the then-most respected CPA firms in Arizona. Miller, Allen merged with REDW in November 2012.
