REDW’s partnership with Notah Begay III, Native American PGA TOUR golfer and founder of the NB3 Foundation, was recently highlighted in the Albuquerque Journal’s “Begay Shares Vision for Improving Native Health.”
The article covers a recent talk Notah conducted at the Albuquerque Economic Forum, in which he discussed how the NB3 Foundation is working to improve childhood obesity rates in Native communities. He also mentioned his and REDW’s new financial literacy initiative for Native youth. The initiative launched in the Fall of 2016 with a curriculm created by Junior Achievement for students at the Santa Fe Indian School. Read more at ABQJournal.com.
