Many hospitals and healthcare providers have received coronavirus relief funds through the CARES Act that are potentially subject to a Single Audit. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will distribute these funds totaling $175 billion. Many hospitals may need to delay their audits until further guidance is released.
