|Where:||Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino

|When:||October 4-6, 2018|
The Advancing Tribal Healthcare Conference, presented by Owl Springs Consulting, strives to help Tribes build sustainable 638 healthcare systems by bridging the gap between National, State, Local and Tribal healthcare entities – improving healthcare delivery and decreasing disparities within Native communities.
On Friday, October 5, 1:15 pm to 2:15 pm, REDW Principal Tal Moore, along with Owl Springs Consultings’ Dave Panana, will be presenting on Tribal 638 Healthcare Administration.
The session will provide a comprehensive checklist approach in taking a Tribe’s healthcare from I.H.S through the 638 process to full Self-Governance. Topics will include preparing for the transition through governance readiness, feasibility studies, and intent processes; how to approach negotiation; the planning process, including strategic planning, environmental scanning and community communications; the transition itself; the role of Finance, IT, HR and other key areas under 638 control; and how to measure success.
REDW will also be exhibiting at this event, so be sure to stop by our booth!
