Our Continuing Commitment to Tribes

For the last 10 years running, REDW has been delivering an unparalleled conference experience for tribal leaders, providing expert guidance on a host of issues impacting Indian Country, as well as opportunities for networking and sharing best practices among colleagues and industry experts.

And although 2020 is presenting entirely new challenges, REDW remains committed to serving tribes by providing participants with timely and compelling insights from REDW’s internal experts and strategic partners online, and free of charge.

This year’s virtual conference promises to carry on the same tradition of excellence and thought leadership – though with no registration fees or travel costs involved – and with a focus squarely on the impact COVID-19 has had on tribal workplaces and communities, and preparing tribal leaders for the post-COVID world.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Tribal Council Members, Tribal Finance and HR Leaders, Compliance and Investment Officers, Tribal Attorneys, and other professionals in Tribal Leadership roles.

Agenda for “Charting the Path Forward in an Uncertain World”

Our Conference Agenda is currently under development, but plans to follow three different themes over the course of three successive days, each comprising three 50-minute sessions:

Tuesday, November 17
Tribal Health & Community: Getting Ahead of the Next Normal After COVID-19

Day 1 will focus on lessons learned and best practices gleaned from the pandemic, and how Tribal leaders can apply these lessons to improve the health and well-being of their communities, governments and enterprises.

Wednesday, November 18
Federal Funding, Compliance & Audit

Day 2 will focus on the practical application of recent federal legislation to the operations of Tribal governments and enterprises, including the implications of the CARES Act on grants management and Single Audit.

Thursday, November 19
Managing Today’s Disrupted Workplace

Day 3 will focus on guiding Tribal leaders as they navigate the disruptions to the workplace caused by the pandemic, forever changing the way we do our jobs.
