Tribal Funding Under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021

The ARP legislation approved by the President on March 13, 2021 includes about $31B in resources to Indian Country. Now, federal agencies are holding consultation sessions with Tribes for their input on the distribution and feedback on implementing the Act’s uses. New SBA Guidance Clears Up PPP Forgiveness Application Due Date

Concern had arisen among many Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) borrowers in the confusion about the due date for loan forgiveness applications. The Small Business Administration released guidance on October 13, 2020 that confirms PPP loan forgiveness applications are not due on October 31 – and explains what probably caused the confusion.
