REDW Proves (Once Again) Great Work Culture Is About More Than Perks

July 17, 2022

July 17, 2022 — REDW team members have once again championed their own firm as a Top Workplace in Arizona and New Mexico. In both states for two consecutive years, through anonymously gathered feedback, REDW team members ranked the firm among the best to work with.

“Creating a Top Workplace is about more than offering great benefits and vacation time,” according to Top Workplaces. REDW takes pride in an entrepreneurial and collaborative company culture that is creating growth through strong internal teams, rewarding professional careers, and meaningful client outcomes.

Steve CoganBuilding on our almost 70-year legacy of integrity, reliability, and expertise, we are framing the future for our team and clients, in part by keeping REDW a great place to work,” says Managing Principal Steve Cogan.

“The last several years have been particularly exciting as we’ve become known as one of the Southwest’s largest and fastest growing business advisory and certified public accounting firms, and most recently were named one of Accounting Today’s Firms to Watch and a Regional Leader in 2022. We are exceptionally proud to have now achieved Top Workplace status two years in a row. It is tangible evidence that we are on the right track and that our team, client, and innovation experience strategies are proving effective.”

For the firm’s Albuquerque, New Mexico office, this is the third time REDW has achieved the honor since beginning participation in the survey in 2019. 2022 is the second year of participation for REDW’s Phoenix office and second year securing a spot among Arizona’s Top Workplaces. It doesn’t appear things will be slowing down at REDW anytime soon — if team members keep getting their way.

Katherine BastowWe are all about empowering our team members to lead the way,” says Katherine Bastow, Director of People Operations.

“We strive to attract top talent that live out the values of REDW’s culture and are enthusiastic about contributing in a hands-on way. What makes our firm unique is that REDW team members really want to make their mark on the organization, and we believe in giving them an opportunity to do that in their work and communities. Our team members’ unique experiences and skills are always seen as valuable—it’s all part of the culture we’re building.”

Top Workplace awards are based solely on anonymously gathered employee feedback from science-based survey questions administered by the third-party technology company, Energage LLC. The employee survey seeks to measure organizational health, focusing on team alignment with a company’s vision, the challenge of a high-performance work culture, and whether team members feel valued and heard. Organizations are evaluated against industry benchmarks based on Energage’s 16 years of research data collected from 70,000 organizations across the nation and 27 million employee surveys.
