REDW LLC, one of the Southwest’s 10 largest certified public accounting and business consulting firms, is pleased to announce that Ed Street, Principal and head of the Firm’s Business Valuation, Forensic & Litigation Support Services, has added the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation to his already impressive list of credentials.
Regarded as one of the industry’s most rigorous and difficult designations to achieve, the Accredited Senior Appraiser credential is awarded by the American Society of Appraisers to those who successfully complete its appraisal designation program – numbering fewer than 5,000 experts around the world. REDW now boasts three such experts in its Business Valuation, Forensic & Litigation Support Services group: Principal Ed Street, Senior Manager Tim Kelly, and Senior Consultant Carl Alongi.
Ed has 30 years of public accounting experience in a wide range of technical areas, including business valuation, litigation support, auditing, and taxation. His valuation work has included valuations and related services for gift and estate purposes, purchase and sales analysis and negotiations, employee stock ownership plans, marital dissolution cases, dissenting and oppressed stockholder actions, eminent domain, and various other purposes. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and now an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Ed holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) designations granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation awarded by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
