What began as a small accounting practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1953 has grown to become a dynamic, multi-location accounting and advisory firm with additional offices in Phoenix and Oklahoma City. While REDW made its name by providing trusted accounting and audit services, generations of our leaders have always been about more than just numbers. Over the years, we’ve become deeply invested in our clients’ success as we seek to make meaningful contributions in the lives of our team members and communities.

Our Founders

In 1953, two accountants, Sanford Rogoff and Nathan Glassman, set up a small accounting office in Albuquerque, New Mexico with the goal of delivering superior service by incorporating creativity, integrity, accountability, and respect for clients into their practice.

Glassman & Rogoff collaborated to grow the business and welcomed Ralph Youngberg in the late 1960s, becoming known as Glassman, Rogoff, Youngberg & Co.

Our Founders

In the 1970s, Irv Diamond and Mike Walker joined the firm as principals—making it a young firm! Save for Sanford Rogoff, at the time, all of the principals were under age 40.

During the early 1980s, the firm focused primarily on tax and local audit services. After two decades, Ralph Youngberg left, changing the name to Rogoff, Diamond & Walker (RDW).

Welcoming New Industries

In the 1990’s, the firm expanded its expertise in the areas of Healthcare, Governmental Tax, Audits for Tribal Nations, Pension and Profit Sharing, Financial Planning, Business Valuation, Litigation Services, Software, and Tribal Gaming.

After a merger with Erickson Allen in 1997, the firm became known as Rogoff, Erickson, Diamond & Walker, LLC.

National Recognition

By the end of 2010, the firm was listed among the year’s top ten “Fastest Growing CPA firms in the nation” by INSIDE Public Accounting.

In 2023, REDW has been named among “America’s Best Accounting Firms” by Forbes, and—with our sights set on soon becoming a Top 100 firm—recognized as a “Beyond the Top 100: Firm to Watch” by Accounting Today.
