The Senior Manager in our Audit and Consulting department should be a CPA with an interest in performing financial statement audits and managing special projects for hospitals and healthcare organizations. A firm understanding of the best practices in revenue cycle processes is required, as well as an appreciation for hospital and health center operations. The ability to manage financial consulting projects for healthcare organizations, such as financial system setup, budgeting, process improvement and employee training is required. Supervision and training of less experienced accountants and the capacity to leverage work while maintaining oversight will be required. In addition, this position will support business development activities that include client outreach, proposal preparation, and participation in industry activities. Travel is required.
The ideal candidate will have public accounting background with 8-15 years total experience, including at least five years in financial administration of a hospital or other healthcare organization. Evidence of strong communication skills and team building aptitude is desired. Experience with Tribal healthcare organizations is a plus.
