Bruce Bleakman, CPA |

Bruce Bleakman is an expert in auditing, accounting and financial reporting. He specializes in providing auditing, accounting and consulting services to tribal governments and their enterprises, including casinos. With more than 22 years in the profession, Bruce has experience serving a variety of organizations and industries, including credit unions, banks, construction contractors, defense contractors, schools, colleges and state and local governments.
Bruce is a nationally recognized speaker and presents frequently on financial reporting, corporate governance and audit independence issues. He is a member and past president of the Albuquerque Chapter of the Institute of Internal auditors and is a member of the AICPA Casino Audit Guide Task Force. He serves on the audit committee of Albuquerque Public Schools and the investment committee of the American Indian Graduate Center, a nonprofit organization based in Albuquerque that provides over $1 million annually to support Indian college students pursuing masters and doctorate degrees.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Bruce is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Carol Mayo Cochran, CPA/PFS, CEBS, CMA, CMS |

With 24 years of accounting experience (19 of which are in the employee benefits field) Carol Mayo Cochran has significant expertise in employee benefits, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts and compensation planning. As principal in charge of REDW Benefits LLC, Carol oversees the design and administration of all forms of retirement and welfare benefit plans, including age weighted and cross-tested pension arrangements. She has an extensive background in retirement plan administration, plan design, problem plan resolution and client representation before the IRS and Department of Labor. Carol also consults with clients on compensation strategy, job definition and evaluation, salary ranking and position classification.
In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Carol is also a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, Personal Financial Specialist, Certified Management Accountant and Compensation Management Specialist. Carol is the Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee of New Mexico First and ACCION New Mexico, and the incoming chair of the Robert O. Anderson School of Management Foundation. She is additionally a former National Board member and National Treasurer of the Girl Scouts of the USA. Carol is a Distinguished Toastmaster, past District Governor of District 23 Toastmasters, and past president of Musical Theater Southwest. In 1995, Carol received the New Mexico Society of CPAs Community Service award, and in 2002, Carol was designated Accountant Advocate of the Year by the New Mexico Small Business Association. In 2001, the New Mexico Business Weekly named Carol one of New Mexico’s “Forty under 40” top business leaders, and in 2005, 2006 and 2007, they designated her as one of New Mexico’s “Power Brokers.”
A native New Mexican, Carol is also a graduate of the University of New Mexico.

Steve Cogan, CPA |

Steve Cogan serves a wide variety of clients, including healthcare organizations, nonprofits, financial institutions, wholesalers, real estate developers, manufacturers and insurance companies. His areas of practice include financial statement audit, internal audit, fraud prevention and investigation, business process consulting, internal control, bookkeeping and performance measurement.
Steve is a graduate of Cal Poly State University San Luis Obispo and joined the firm in 1992 after several years of audit experience with a national firm. Steve and his wife Nancy served one year as volunteer teachers in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.
Steve chairs the 4th Street and Montaño Area Improvement Coalition community revitalization project, serves on the Entrepreneurial Leadership Accelerator steering committee and was a graduate of the 2006 class of Leadership New Mexico. He recently completed ten years of service as a board member of Catholic Charities and several years of service as a board member of New Mexico Information Technology & Software Association. He served for six years on the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants' Peer Review Committee. He is an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Chip Dennedy specializes in financial planning, consulting and training for individuals, businesses and Native American tribes and enterprises. His multifaceted experience makes him exceptionally qualified to help clients with a wide variety of financial needs.
Before beginning his career in public accounting, Chip helped run a sizable family business and managed the accounting operations at a publicly held manufacturing company. As a result, he has a unique understanding for the business and financial needs of his clients. With over 20 years of public accounting and financial planning experience, he specializes in personal, business and tribal consulting and planning in investments, stock options, retirement, asset protection, estate planning and taxation.
Chip is an honors graduate of the University of Colorado and the College for Financial Planning in Denver. He has earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designations and was recognized for placing second nationally on the uniform PFS exam.

For more than 30 years, Irv has helped clients grow their businesses and achieve financial security. He is a business and financial advisor to clients in retail, real estate, the automobile industry and the professional services. He has particular skills in litigation support as an expert witness, and often helps clients with mergers, acquisitions and sales of their businesses.
Irv holds the Personal Financial Specialist, Certified Financial Planner and Certified Valuation Analyst designations. In addition to numerous academic and professional awards, Irv is the recipient of the “Highest Distinction” award for earning the top grade on the Personal Financial Specialist examination. Worth and Medical Economics magazines call him one of the nation’s best financial advisors, and Money magazine recognizes him as one of the nation’s best tax advisers. These magazines and other financial publications quote Irv frequently as their expert source.
Irv writes extensively in the tax and financial planning areas. He was a regular columnist for the New Mexico Lawyer and a former member of the editorial advisory board of The Tax Adviser.

Eric Herrera has an extensive background in both private industry and public accounting. His 12 years of experience covers real estate and construction, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning for closely held businesses and owners, internal controls review and business entity selection. Eric has published articles and delivered presentations on numerous tax topics.
Eric is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and is heavily involved in professional and community activities, including membership in the AICPA and the New Mexico Society of CPAs. In 2007, Eric received the New Mexico Society of CPAs Community Service Award. James Montoya is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and has been a member of the public accounting profession for 12 years. Throughout his accounting career, James has specialized in providing audit, consulting, accounting and audit preparation services to tribal governments, casinos, tribal grant and contract schools and other governmental entities.
By performing a variety of audit and consulting services throughout his accounting career, James has a thorough understanding of tribal government, casino and school operations and extensive expertise using various accounting and consulting software programs and automated techniques. He is one of REDW’s primary technical resources in computer aided consulting, using advanced applications of Excel and IDEA data analysis software.
James has been a guest speaker at New Mexico State University classes demonstrating various accounting and consulting software programs. He has been a speaker at the Native American Grant School Association (NAGSA) and the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) conferences and has conducted a number of REDW continuing professional education courses.

Glen Post, CPA |

Glen Post is the principal in charge of our Tribal practice and has more than 20 years experience in auditing, accounting and financial reporting. He manages audits for nonprofit, commercial and governmental clients. Glen also provides management advisory services to clients in financial systems development, personnel and financial feasibility studies.
His business and management skills are applied to help tribal governments, casinos, other enterprises develop policy, and procedure manuals, recruit tribal accountants and provide training and technical assistance to internal auditors and gaming compliance officers. He assists tribes with financial projections and feasibility studies, personnel compensation studies, indirect cost allocations and rates.
Glen is very interested in helping tribal governments, casinos and other tribal enterprises identify measures and develop information systems necessary to improve efficiency and financial performance.
He has been a featured speaker at Native American Finance Officers Association conferences and a number of REDW’s training and information seminars for tribes and casinos.
He is a graduate of Washburn University in Kansas.

A member of the public accounting profession for 25 years, Ron Rivera serves a variety of clients. He is equally competent counseling retired individuals on estate planning or advising growing corporations on the tax consequences of their activities. Ron frequently acts as a consultant to business and nonprofit organizations on strategic planning and budgeting issues.
Ron’s expertise includes:

Ginny Stanley holds the distinct honor of being one of Worth magazine’s “Most Exclusive Wealth Advisors” six times. She is Principal in Charge of REDW Stanley Financial Advisors, an SEC Registered Subsidiary of REDW The Rogoff Firm, and President and Chairman of the Board of REDW Trust Company.
Ginny is a recognized expert and leader in the financial planning industry. She has been selected Planner of the Year by LINC, given the AICPA’s award for Highest Distinction in Financial Planning and is often asked to contribute planning advice for articles in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Financial Planning, Fortune, Smart Money and Money magazines.
She is a past president of the New Mexico Society of CPAs, past chair of the New Mexico Society of CPAs Financial Planning Committee, former member of the Personal Financial Planning Executive Committee of the American Institute of CPAs, and was named the New Mexico Small Business Administration’s Accountant Advocate of the year in 1996. She currently serves on AICPA Council and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as having served on the Strategic Planning, Finance and Investment Committees. Ginny has a long history of leadership positions in various nonprofit and civic groups. Ginny currently serves on the Board of Governors, the Board of Appeals, the Investment Committee and the Visioning Committee for the CFP Board of Standards.
She is particularly skilled in helping clients establish focus and direction in their financial lives. Her outstanding technical capabilities, communication skills and personal experience in investing (as a small business owner and an active real estate investor) bring a wide range of knowledge and implementation skills to her client relationships.
Ginny’s gift of leadership started in grade school and continued through college as president of student government and chairman of various, fundraising campaigns. Her first job was as educational counselor and then program director for a government funded educational program. For her efforts, Ginny received national recognition.
Today, her life of service continues as she volunteers her time as a facilitator in District Court. She counsels individuals in divorce into becoming financially sound, and has volunteered as counselor and mentor to small business owners. Friends and colleagues know Ginny as someone who strictly adheres to values and integrity and holds others to the same high standards.
Ginny completed undergraduate work at the College of St. Teresa and University of Minnesota and post-graduate studies at the University of New Mexico.

Ed Street has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, including business valuations, litigation support, auditing and taxation. He is responsible for Business Valuation and Litigation Services for the firm.
Ed is accredited in business valuation (ABV) by the AICPA and has been awarded the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and has valued a wide range of business enterprises, including manufacturing companies, heavy equipment sales and service companies, professional practices and a variety of service businesses. His experience includes valuations and related services for gift and estate tax purposes, dissenting stockholder actions, purchase and sales analysis and negotiations, marital dissolution cases and various other purposes.
Ed is a member of the AICPA and New Mexico Society of CPAs. He is a former member and past chairman of the New Mexico Society of CPAs’ Peer Review Committee and a former member of its Governmental Accounting Committee. Ed is also a board member of the YMCA of Albuquerque.
Ed graduated from South Dakota State University and attended the University of New Mexico Anderson Schools of Management, where he completed his accounting studies.

Jimmy Trujillo, CPA |

Jimmy Trujillo has a diversified business background including significant experience in tax and audit services. He is particularly knowledgeable in partnership and corporate taxation, construction accounting and taxation, real estate accounting and taxation, wholesale and retail operations.
Jimmy has been in practice since 1982, joining REDW in 1984. He contributed significantly to the growth of the firm’s tax practice, first as a staff accountant, then as an account administrator. He was admitted to the Principal group in 1990 and currently is the managing principal of the firm’s tax practice.

Chris Tyhurst, CPA, is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and has been in public accounting since 1994. He joined REDW The Rogoff Firm in 1996 and became a Principal with the firm in 2008. Chris is one of the leaders in the firm’s healthcare industry niche. He also serves many of the firm’s Native American clients in the Audit and Consulting department.
By performing financial audits and consulting with many hospitals and healthcare organizations in the areas of revenue cycle improvement, internal controls and internal audits, Chris has developed a broad base of knowledge in this industry. In addition, Chris serves as an officer on the board of the New Mexico chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Chris has made presentations at New Mexico HFMA’s education programs on accounting and financial reporting matters, as well as the potential impact of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act on governmental and nonprofit healthcare organizations.
In addition, Chris has extensive experience auditing Native American tribes and nonprofit organizations receiving federal awards. Chris also has experience providing audit, revenue cycle consulting and internal audit services to Native American hospitals and health centers.

Lisa Wilcox has been with REDW for more than 25 years. Her focus is in the area of benefits administration for various retirement, welfare and cafeteria plans, as well as compensation planning. Her experience covers a broad spectrum of technical topics, ranging from payroll tax issues related to employee benefits, to retirement and distribution planning to compensation programs and human resource consulting. Lisa has had the opportunity to consult with clients in the following areas:

Ray Ziler, CPA |

Ray Ziler joined REDW in January of 2003, bringing with him a proven track record in serving clients in construction, distribution, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, among others—both public and private, as well as governmental and quasi-governmental organizations. His experience covers a variety of industries and services including assurance, strategic planning, capital formation, expert testimony and business advisory.
Prior to joining REDW, Ray was a career professional with Arthur Andersen LLP. After graduation, he started with Andersen in Los Angeles where he became a partner in the firm. He relocated to Albuquerque to head up Andersen's assurance and business advisory services and in 1994, became Managing Partner of the Albuquerque office, serving in that capacity until the end of 1999.
Ray is also a principal or board member in several private companies, some of which he helped found. He served as interim President of the University of New Mexico Foundation, where he continues as a Board member and Audit and Finance Committee chair. In addition, he serves in leadership positions with a number of civic and community organizations. Ray also consults with and has invested in several New Mexico based early stage technology companies. He provides volunteer leadership in several community organizations.
