Laurel has more than 13 years of experience in public accounting. Her audit experience includes contractors, not-for-profit member organizations, insurance providers, employee benefit plans, manufacturing, wholesale distributors, and other commercial enterprises. She has also served clients by planning and preparing taxes.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND MEMBERSHIPS
Laurel is a Certified Public Accountant. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Laurel also completed Leadership Albuquerque, class of 2007.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Laurel serves on the Advisory Council for ARCA Organics. She also serves on the Women’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Team (WESST) Finance Committee, a New Mexico nonprofit whose mission is to alleviate poverty by facilitating entrepreneurship among women and minorities in the state of New Mexico. She also served as past treasurer for the Animal Humane Association of New Mexico and the Southwest Arts Festival.
